3 Roads Communications to Host Legend of Airpower George McGovern

3 Roads Communications is proud to announce that George McGovern will be the subject of an upcoming episode of the television series, Legends of Airpower.  Production will begin on June 28^th, when Senator McGovern will be interviewed by Russ Hodge, President of 3 Roads Communications, at the company’s studios located at the historic Glass Factory in downtown Frederick.

Many people are familiar with Mr. McGovern’s career in politics.  He was in the U.S. House of Representatives for 4 years, before serving 18 years as a U.S. Senator from South Dakota.  In 1972, he was the Democratic nominee for President, and lost the election to Richard M. Nixon.  He was one of the leading opponents of the Vietnam War.  Not as well known to the general public, is Mr. McGovern’s record as a war hero during WWII, when he served as a bomber pilot in the Europe.  He flew a B-24 on 35 combat missions over heavily fortified Nazi targets, and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.
