Producer

Karl Stoll is a producer with more than 20 years of television experience.  Currently, Karl is producing a 3 Roads documentary on adventure pilot Gus McLeod and his ongoing pole to pole flight in a single-engine experimental aircraft.  Karl is also scripting Unspoiled Planet, a wildlife series for foreign distribution and assisting with production planning for a new PBS series, The Meaning of the 21^st Century.  During his career, Karl has produced hundreds of hours of live call-in newstalk TV programs featuring many high-profile and powerful people.  In addition, Karl has worked on numerous TV commercials, interactive video training programs, distance learning programs, teleconferences, newscasts, and public affairs programs.  He has particular experience starting up new TV operations.  In the late 1980’s, Karl assisted with the construction of two new TV stations in North Carolina, one of them as a licensee.  Through his work with a national trade association for broadcasters and a large national law firm, Karl gained valuable experience in media relations, publishing and marketing.  Karl is a graduate of James Madison University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications Arts and won third place in the JMU film contest judged by Hollywood director Michael Apted.

Catherine Christman

Catherine Christman has been an executive in the worlds of Public Relations and journalism for almost 25 years. Among her many professional credentials, she has been head of public relations for WNBC-TV, the NBC flagship station in New York; head of public relations for Fox 5, the Fox flagship station in New York; and head of communications for a network of 11 public television and 8 public radio stations in South Carolina. In addition, as a freelance public relations specialist, she numbered Newsweek magazine among her clients. In the capacity of director of editorials for WNBC-TV, Christman received an Emmy nomination for her body of writing.  In addition, she has produced the "McLaughlin Show" for CNBC; and worked as an editor at newspapers under the aegis of the Tribune Co. and Knight Ridder. Articles she has authored have appeared in numerous publications, including Men's Health and First for Women. Christman received a B.A. magna cum laude from Hunter College. She resides in South Carolina with her husband. Between them, they have three grown daughters.

Judy Miller

With more than 20 years of experience, Judy Miller offers a wide array of expertise and skills to address the full range of communications challenges.  She is equally at home with media relations, marketing, special events, and materials development, as well as the building and maintenance of Web sites to support communications initiatives.  During her career, Judy has managed communications and marketing operations in fields ranging from healthcare to publishing fundraising.  She is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.

Charles White
Consultant

Charles White has over 30 years experience in marketing and television programming with a particular expertise in the realm of public television.  Charles' career with SC Educational Television Network began when he worked as the Director of Ascertainment to assure all network programming was in compliance with federally mandated requirements with the FCC.  Charles also served as the Associate Director for National Programming and Development with SC Educational Television Network developing and executing strategies to increase national corporate support of national public television projects. Recent highlights include PBS series such as World @ Large with David Gergen, Juggling Work and Family with Hedrick Smith, Enemies of War, and 3 Roads' very own Legends of Airpower.

Tom Johnson has been the Producer/Writer for more than 100 military/history documentaries for domestic and international broadcast. Former Vice President of Production for The Military Channel, Tom was also a Program Development Producer for Fox Television in Los Angeles.
